Please how could you paraphrase these 2 sentences:

1. One major positive for this study is that it is observational, so no possible errors can come from the experimenter interfering with the study. A limitation that stood out to me the most in this study would be the sample size only being 167, although it is a good thing to have a wide range of ages 8 to 17, only having 167 doesn't really provide the best results or a good mix of different ages, having at least 500 would be an even better option because the range of ages can be bigger thus allowing more reliable results.

2. Soft drink consumption is extremely popular in the U.S. One positive aspect of this study is that the sample size is extremely large. Having a sample size that large allows for a ton of data to be collected, so that it can be more accurate. One positive limitation of this study is that people often do not tell the truth when it comes to their own health. They could easily say that they consume less sodas then they actually are, which would skew the results in the end.

Answer #1

1. Experimenter bias is not possible in this study as the study uses observational techniques. The major constrain of this study is a small sample size of 167. It is difficult to get best results with the small sample size, eventhough the sample's age group is from 8- 17. For a more reliable result a wide range of age group of the samples and a sample size of 500 can be used .

2. Use of soft drinks is common in the general public in the US. A huge amount of data can be collected from this study because the study have a large sample size. This is an advantage of the study as the information can be more accurate from the large sample size. Individuals usually wont express the facts related to their own health honestly. They may say they consume less soft drinks but actually are not. This type of false information can bias the outcome of the study.
