I was surprised to find out that there is geriatric social worker who works with older adults and the elderly, a social work student, social work in private practice, a medical social worker, a clinical social worker and family social worker.
• Which did you find interesting? I find the family and children's social work the most interesting.
• Reflect on the perspectives of the social workers in the clips. Which social work goals, values, and attention to diversity did you see?
• Note two current issues (covered in the news media) where social work might have a role. What role(s) might a social worker play?

Social workers play an important role in our society.... they keep helping and inspiring people a lot.... there are several types of social worker as mentioned .... I was surprised to find acid attack survivor , a social worker who keep supporting, interacting with other acid attack survivor in the society.... well known person laxmi is an acid survivor... she runs an NGO and supports the other acid survivor... she supports them to come out of the depression state and improves their self confidence by ensuring them the value of themselves... she also helps them to face the society and find their identity in the society...

Her famous saying is that , that man has shattered my face but not my dreams... she ensures that other acid survivors also believe in themselves and raise up stronger than ever before...

Another social worker who surprises me is that a transgender Male who helps other transgenders to come up in life...

Hence there are many people through whom we can get inspired of..
