It is true.People looking to obtain individual insurance may be denied due to pre-existing conditions.A pre -existing condition is a health problem that exist before we apply for the health insurance or enroll in a new health plan .Pre -existing conditions mainly includes high blood pressure ,allergies,cancer,type 2 diabetes,asthma,other chronic health problems.The insurance companies are for profit,they may be refuse to give the coverage for pre- existing conditions because it was costly medical conditions that occurred later.To avoid the burden of these expenses most of the insurance companies do screening tests also before signing in to the plan.
