Answer: Nurses are one of the healthcare people who plays a major role in the patient's life. They have the capacity to take the responsibility to influence current and future healthcare delivery systems. They serve the patients and also provide better facilities regarding healthcare. To achieve this there are many policies.

The nurse plays an important role as they provide quality of care for individuals and families throughout the world and they also actively participate in health policy decision-making processes, their main aim is to benefit the patient. Nurses have helped in shaping public health and also nurse leaders mainly cooperate and understand the consequences of the social, political and economic factors on the health and well being of the public. By influencing the politics that improve the delivery of health care, nurses are advocating for their patients and these policies include the moral and professional obligation of nurses to be engaged in legislation that affects their patients.
