From address referring the sender details

To address referring the name of the resident with the resident doctor name

The body of the letter should describe about the problem and the requirements or if as a student describing about the experience and the knowledge gained through the resident. A cheerful quote like "the personalized skill gained in the clinical sector from you can make one expert in the field " can be added to the letter to cheer up

Then end with thanking you and warm salutation to the resident
