A remotely Controlled drone is flying horizontally at a speed of Vo and a distance of h above the ground when the engine suddenly switches off. You may neglect air resistance for this problem

a. obtain an expression for the time it takes the drone to strike the ground in terms of given quantities and constants

b.obtain an expression for the downrange distance the drone flies from the instant the drone switches off to hitting the ground.

c.obtain expressions for the velocity of the drone when it strikes the ground. Give the angle of velocity with respect to the horizontal.

d.write down the names of the states of motion of the plane in both the x- and y- directions after its engine switches off.

PLEASE SHOW WORK, will give thumbs up!

A 550.0 g bird is flying horizontally at 2.25 m/s, not paying much attention, when it suddenly flies into a stationary vertical bar, hitting it 25.0 cm below the top (Figure 1). The bar is uniform, 0.800 m long, has a mass of 1.50 kg kg, and is hinged at its base. The collision stuns the bird so that it just drops to the ground afterward (but soon recovers to fly happily away). PART A: What is the angular velocity...
