* Patients have right to maintain their health informations confidentially so nurse should

               make sure that health informations patients are safe and secure.

            * Health informations in documentation used as a legal document so the nurse must

               try to maintain the confidentiality of information.

           * When using electronic health records nurse should not leave the computer unattented

              after logged to patient charts.

           * Nurse do not share security password to other health care members to maintain confidentiality

              of patient data.

          * Nurse should place patient documents away from public views.

13) Information technology helps in nursing communication through,

              * Nurses can communicate patient health informations to the physician through

                EHR (Electronic health records)

              * Nurses can communicate with pharmacist about drugs needed for the patient

                by using computer for intending drugs to the pharmacy department.
