Do you consider yourself a stewa9of healthcare? why or why not?
do you consider yourself a steward in healthcare? why or why not?
Ofcourse yes. A nurse working in a day or night duty shift is surrounded by different stressful environment than any other job. They have to take care of their patient to overcome the disease and to have a better outcome. In a shift, they themself have to protect from infection, exposures and do versatile roles before handing the patient to the other. Their environment is really a mess of stressful situation. Nurses are considered to be the stewards of healthcare system. They lack respect and safety in healthcare delivery system. They have to be treated as one among the healthcare team working for the betterment of a patient. Nursing leader should support them, should accept their hardwork on treating patients and should spread the knowledge to others in the team. It is their responsibility to keep the team members in a unit free from stress and monitoring them to work together. Their working environment should be made more positive and healthy to work in a healthcare system.
