Answer #1

We know the ideal gas law equation

PV = nRT

hence nR = PV/T

So as nR is constant , we will have

P1V1/T1 = P2V2/T2 ,...............................(1)

Lets see for first conditions

P1 = 1.06 atm

V1 = 2.37 L

T1 = 289 K

and for 2nd condition

P2 = ?

V2 = 1.36 L

T2 = 308 K

Lets put these values in (1), we get

1.06 atm \times 2.37 L / 289 K = P2\times 1.36 L / 308 K

by rearranging and solving

P2 = 1.97 atm

So our answer is 1.97 atm
