People are privileged because of their race or ethnicity because some races have fewer genetic predispositions to chronic diseases than the others for example based on researches it can be concluded that; African Americans are at increased risk for suffering from; cardiovascular and metabolic diseases, including obesity, high BP, diabetes, CKD, myocardial infarction, and stroke. As a Japanese American I feel privileged to be at a lesser risk of suffering from breast cancer as incidence rates have historically been 4–7 times higher in the United States Japan. In terms of the society, I feel the world is becoming one and there are no longer privileges for one community over the other as everyone is aware of their rights.
