This is about peptic ulcer and crohn's disease-you can refer to bailey's and love about these diseases in detail and understand it conceptionally.

Option(1)

(1) patient should be advised diet and intervention without breaking his cultural and religious values. Every culture has something that can be used to treat that patient but if it is not the case, we will tell the patient all the consequences and encourage him to take the right decision.

(2)if we are not familiar with his faith,then either we can find someone who could or we try to explore and get all informations that we could from available sources.

Option (2) Crohn's disease

(1)Cognitive and behaviorial therapy - talk to patient and advise the patient to think rationally. That most persons suffer from diseases in their lifetime and it is the time when they can show their braveness in face their battles.

(2)patient can have some psychiatric disease like delusions or disordered personality which can be treated by antipsychotics and behaviourial therapies.
