Answer #1

What is the difference between sunblock and sunscreen cream?

Sunblock and sunscreen cream offer similar protection and the main difference between them is Sunblock reflects the harmful rays thus protecting skin effectively and sunscreen absorbs them effectively to prevent skin damage. sunblock works instantly, while sunscreen takes 15-20 minutes post application to work effectively.

Usually Sunblocks offer a better protection by creating a physical layer of lotion on our skin which will physically block the sun from hitting our skin.

2-What is SPF?

SPF (sun protection factor) is a relative measure of how long a sunscreen will protect us from ultraviolet (UV) B rays.

It measures the level of UVB protection, a sun protection product provides, and it ranges from 1 – 90.

The SPF indicates the duration of time that our skin is protected from sunburn, depending on your skin type.

3-Which is better SPF30+ or 50+?

SPF 50+ is better since it blocks out around 98% of the UVB rays.
