In the long run, alcohol can affect the central nervous system very badly. Heart and liver-related complications will also rise with prolonged alcohol consumption. At the same time, a moderate amount of alcohol improves heart health. There is an increased risk of blood pressure and stroke with alcohol consumption.

Alcohol badly affects the gastrointestinal system and the immune system also. In women, it can change the menstrual cycle. In some cases, it can even stop menstruation. So we can see that almost every part of the body is affected by alcohol consumption and even become the cause of death.
