Yes, I agree to the statement that a person's attitude has a major role in influencing their behavior and learning. Attitude can positively or negatively affect a person's behavior. A person may not always be aware of his or her attitude or the effect it is having on behavior.A person who has positive attitudes towards work and co-workers can positively influence those around them. These positive attitudes are usually manifested in a person's behavior; people with a good attitude are active and productive and do what they can to improve the mood of those around them. Attitude may influence the attention to attitude objects,the use of categories for encoding information and interpretation, judgement and recall of attitude-relevant information. These influences tend to be more powerful for strong attitudes which are accessible and based on elaborate supportive knowledge structure. For instances, a nurse who has a negative attitude to work in major operation theater may take it as a challenge and develop skills to work there. Consequently, we gain experience and skills that make us more competent,so that we accomplish more. However, if we have negative attitude towards ourselves , we will not provide ourselves with the chance to become competent.
