* Analyse the organizational hierarchy: Analyse the organizational structure and identify the people who can exercise power to influence politics in the organisation

* Identify the existing conflicts, bullying and any unprofessional behaviour between employees
* Build high quality connections beyond the immediate team. Encourage self and others to build social networks among employees
* set appropriate decision criteria: decision making process should not be manipulated by some objective criteria. it create more politics between staff. Decision making should be based on previously set criteria.
* Information related to organisation and its decisions can be accessed only by key persons not by other employees.
* Create opportunity that the employees can suggest their opinions and ideas to top level management without the interference of middle level managers.
* Motivate the employees to encourage and appreciate each other for a good performance and to develop good interpersonal relationship.
The most using strategies to control politics in an organisation are planning the agenda properly, so it will be well discussed in a meeting and every one can be involving in that, and setting the criteria for decision making, so the decision will be impartial.
