Nurse: Mrs. Lindermen how are you feeling today
Patient: The pain is unbearable, I just cant do this anymore
Nurse: would you like me to give you some pain medication
Patient: Yes please, but no more chemotherapy, its just too much for me
Nurse: Well I spoke to Dr Klein and he told me how you feel
Patient Daughter: Can I speak with you outside?
Nurse: yeah, I’m going to get your pain medication and speak to your daughter if that’s okay?
Patient: Yeah that’s okay

Both Nurse and Patient daughter leave room
Patient daughter: My mother doesn’t know what she’s saying, we have to do everything to save her, she has to have the chemotherapy.

As a nurse my response to daughter is very positive, I give positive answer to daughter questions, I tell all information sincerally to daughter what I talked to mother.

My response to daughter, " dear baby don't fear, be positive, we will do our best to save your mother's life.

I always give trustable, real information to baby because false information cause more problems, I introduce baby to current situations, all procedures, treatments. Baby aware and addpt realistic information.
