4) High density polyethylene( HDPE) is more crystalline than low density polyethylene(LDPE) as HDPE is less branched than LDPE. So HDPE shows higher stiffness than LDPE . This reason makes HDPE is hard to process than LDPE.

The recyclibility of any polymer is dependent on few factors like accumulation of the materials to be recycled, what will be the end use of the recycled products will it give same strength and property after recycling. Considering this facts PET( polyethylene terepthalete) and HDPE are most recycled polymers. But it is always easy to recycle HDPE than PET because HDPE is less crystalline than PET. As PET has ester group and it is involved in polar polar interaction which leads higher packing of polymer chains and higher crystallinity which makes it difficult to dissolve and melt than HDPE. That's why HDPE is easily recycleable than PET.
