2. Fat soluble vitamins are stored in the liver and fatty tissues if consumed in excess and will be utilised by the body when it is lacking in diet. They can be stored for weeks to months.

all other statements are incorrect.

1. water soluble vitamins are excreted in urine when consumed in excess and hence does not cause toxic buildup.

3. since water soluble vitamins are not stored in the body, you need to replace them everyday.

4.fat soluble vitamins are absorbed into the lacteals in the small intestine and their absorption and transportation is similiar to that of fats. hence they are not directly absorbed into the blood stream.

5. fat soluble vitamins are not required in large and frequent doses as the body stores them.
