PTCA (Percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty) is a procedure in which a catheter is inserted via skin to the femoral or radial artery to the coronary artery of the heart, then cardiologist repair or dilate blockage coronary artery for better blood flow.

During the procedure, there may be a chance of arterial bleeding in assessing site or hematoma under the skin.

There may be an injury to the coronary artery.

The patient may have reperfusion VT (Ventricular tachycardia) or VF (Ventricular fibrillation)
