Answer: The code includes respecting the worth and dignity of person as nurse should respect each other. They should respect the patient's dignity and ability to make decisions. Everyone has dignity and we should be respectful towards everyone.

The right of self determination involves that every individual has their own identity and they can freely available the right to have social, economical as well as political development.

The nurses are expected to resolve conflicts of interest as:

  1. Nurses should identify the reason of conflict.
  2. Being proactive and concerned.
  3. Remain calm
  4. Seek solution.

The Newton rejects the model of a nurse as an autonomous professional as according to him the nursing profession can not be autonomous because the nurse decision or action is not dependent alone on autonomy but it is the collaborative decision. The nurse action is for taking care and benefitting the patients.
