Ans. Psychotherapy is a general term for treating mental health problems by talking with a psychiatrist, psychologist or other mental health provider . During psychotherapy, you learn about your condition and your moods, feelings, thoughts and behaviors.

Drugs therapy = the anti psychotic medication used to treat the psychiatrist patients

Antidepressant medicine etc

Electro convulsive therapy = ECT consist of including a grand mal seizure by passing an electrical current through electrodes that are attached to the temporal lobes

Indications when antidepressants have no further effects

Extreme agitated client

Several depression with suicide risk

History of poor medication response

History of good ECT response

Severe catatonia and psychosis

Psychotherapy each disorder = major depressive disorder - also known as clinical depression, major depression,unipolar depression or recurrent depression.

It is a mental disorder characterized by episodes of all encompassing low mood accompanied by low self esteem and loss of interest or pleasure in normally enjoyable activities

Symptoms = very low mood, which pervades all aspects of life

Inability to experience pleasure

Treatment = antidepressants medication

Psychotherapy or counseling
