My answer:

Obesity is one of the main health problems in Saudi Arabia. A study conducted a decade ago tell that Saudi is at 29th rank among other countries in which 68.3 % people are overweight. The most interesting thing is that women in Saudi are more effected with condition than male. This result mainly can see in rural areas.

The ratio of obesity is more in various age groups , employments, and various place and sex. The other vital components of causing obesity is any family history of illness, dietary habits, genetic factors, marital status, inactivity and high blood pressure in Saudi.

The complications which are related to this condition are heart disease, diabetes mellitus, cancers .Researches reveals that Saudi soldiers are more effected with obesity as they take high calorie intake but not doing any physical activity. Moreover, home makers among Saudi females aged above 30 years also are affected with coronary artery disease due to unhealthy eating habits and lack of exercises.

The number of obesity can be increased in Saudi in coming years if do not take any measures to solve this problem. Saudi women those who are prone to get obesity as most of them are not working .so they are given health education about the need of taking healthy diet and regular exercise. Ruler body should take initiative to solve this problem by implementing awareness programs through schools ,colleges and health centers in order to avoid further complication and reduce the number of death.

Answer: The lack of physical activities in the population of Saudi is one of the major factors. Most of the population are dependent only on red meat. The high intake of calories causes increased health risk conditions. The second most important factor that influences the health of Saudi population is unawareness among people regarding the adoption of healthy lifestyle. They are not aware about the physical activities, exercise etc. The extreme hot climate also contributes in it as people do not want to go out in the open areas. Women are not allowed to perform exercise or have sufficient gym services. So, this can be included in the the health risk factors.
