this is my answer:

Environmental health problem in Saudi community:

1. It is noticed that due to the maximum usage of fossil fuels this has generated more number of issues related to the environment. The high standards of living and the urbanization which is going on now has led to the pollution of ground water and air. There is an over consumption of the natural resources which is noticed . This has lead to the process of deforestation and desertification.

2. The problem is mainly associated with maximum usage of the natural resources. Because of the maximum usage there is a drastic effect on the environment around us.

3. The problem which has happened is the pollution of the natural resources like land , water and air. The natural resources like the trees are being cut down which has lead to the process of deforestation and also desertification.

4. It is noticed that due to the maximum usage of fossil fuels this has generated more number of issues related to the environment. The high standards of living and the urbanization which is going on now has led to the pollution of ground water and air. There is an over consumption of the natural resources which is noticed . This has lead to the process of deforestation and desertification. The measures taken to avoid this are:

a. converting the resources into renewable resources.

b. Many environmental problems and policies were designed to protect the wildlife also.

The recent environmental health problems in Saudi community is noticed as follows:

1. The natural resource development in Saudi Arabia is highly correlated with the environmental health issues because the country's oil and gas reserves contributes to the development while harming the environment Fossil fuels are highly harmful to the environmental health. Saudi government is trying to develop the usage of natural resources in an environmental friendly manner.

But it is noted that, due to the maximum usage of fossil fuels this has generated more number of issues related to the environment. The high standards of living and the urbanization which is going on now has led to the pollution of ground, water and air. There is an over consumption of the natural resources which has lead to the process of deforestation and desertification.

1.1. The problem identified are urban pollution and deforestation and desertification. Urban pollution occurs due to urbanization which further leads to increased water sector usage, desalination, excess oil extraction, coast line constructions and oil drilling. All these can result in water, air and ground pollution.

Deforestation is the result of urbanization, expansion of agriculture and high energy consumption. Deforestation is occurring both legally and illegally while clearing more forest areas for agriculture.

Desertification is accelerated by increasing global temperature and industrial agriculture. It controls the extension of residential areas and land access by small scale farmers. The industrial agriculture misuses the scarce water resources available in Saudi and there by depleting the natural fertility of land by water which leads to desertification.

1.2. This problem is happening all over Saudi Arabia and when we catagorize the water oil and ground pollution is happening in the urban areas where as deforestation and desertification is happening in the rural areas of Saudi Arabia. Also the coastal areas, marine life and ocean ecosystems are getting affected due to urbanization. The ground pollution is more common in the city of Jeddah where the roadside contamination and high carbon emissions due to heavy traffic.

1.3. The problem started since years back and all the factors was aggravating the problem of pollution, deforestation and desertification. As years pass by, urbanization is happening more and more and the threat is increasing drastically. Since 1997, various researches and programes started to analyse the environmental health and how it affects the life of people.

There ate marine studies which includes 18 years bioaccumulation monitoring programme that monitors the entry of hydrocarbons and heavy metals in food chain.

2.The problem is mainly associated with excessive usage of the natural resources and urbanization. When there is urbanization it leads to the necessity to use the natural resources excessively so that the needs of the people can be met. Instead of preserving the natural resources, there is an increased use of it and it has a drastic effect on the environment around us.

3. The problem which has happened is the pollution of the natural resources like land , water and air which will lead to a lot of Health issues. People started getting lot of respiratory problems due to inhalation of polluted air, waterborne diseases started spreading over and also a lot of infectious diseases result g from lack of land hygiene. The natural resources like the trees are being cut down which has lead to the process of deforestation and also desertification. This leads to food insecurity and scarcity of water. Also people are suffering with many diseases due to unclean water and food and poor food hygiene.

4. It is noticed that due to the excessive usage of fossil fuels numerous health issues have been generated related to the environment health problems. The high standards of living, excessive use of natural resources and the urbanization which is going on now has led to the pollution, deforestation and desertification. The measures taken to avoid this are:

a. Converting the resources into renewable resources.

The government of Saudi Arabia is planning alternate energy plans to support the population. Mass oil consumption is not sustainable. And this realization helped to create a new market for renewable energies and further research for cleaner initiatives. Scholars are developing plans to make transition in Saudi Arabia to renewable energy.

b. Many environmental problems and policies were designed to protect the wildlife also.

The General Authority of Meteorology and Environmental Protection is an agency that handles all the environmental policies of Saudi Arabia. The government recently created the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), an institute dedicated towards efficient, environmentally friendly energy use. At present this institution is working towards the plan of using only renewable and nuclear energies. The National Commission for Wildlife Conservation and Development (NCWCD) is a government sector created for endangered animal preservation.The Saudi government works towards creating designated areas for wildlife protection and natural resource conservation.

The main goal is to revive destroyed areas and maintain biodiversity while increasing public environmental education and research.
