Ethical values guide the human to take quality judgements and decisions while facing different situations in life. These values are helpful for one's own development and grooming as well as contribute for a better society example could be
Honesty- an honest person would never get engaged in any wrongdoing and will be able to live peacefully and maintain healthy relations in society.
1. Considering the alignment of our rights with ethical beliefs
(the perspective may differ from individual to individual.)
rights can be closely aligned to one's ethical beliefs. for example, if my ethical values lead me towards respecting others then I will definitely care for others' rights of being free from slavery, not to be tortured, to be treated with respect and dignity etc.
2.Considering the alignment of justice with ethical values or beliefs
justice can be put together with one's ethical values or beliefs. for example, a person with ethical values like, law abiding, acaccountability, promise keeping and trustworthiness would surely promote justice. He or she will also care for his/her own justice and provide it to others too. He or she may not be fraudulent in any activity like relating to business or entering into any transactions.
3. Ethical values are very closely related to virtue
Virtue and ethical beliefs are quite synonymous. Virtue is a good quality behaviour having high moral standard it can be aligned with ethical values, for example, a person having respect for others (which is a ethical value) would surely have a virtue of generosity.
4. Ethical value and common good can also be aligned together .
for example, a selfish person lacking ethical values can never think about the common good whereas a person having ethical values like love, care, honesty, respect towards others will consider the benefits of society as well, while undertaking any task.
