Mood is state of mind and reflects a moving notion that cannot be easily grasped, It can impact on future evaluations, feelings and subsequest actions
Self-regulation or emotion regulation is the ability to respond to the ongoing demands of experience with the range of emotions in such a manner that is socially tolerable and sufficiently flexible to permit immediate reactions as well as the ability to delay the decision of purchasing a product or service
It definatly impact on buying decisions for example - When we have to make a decision, self regulation and moods that was applicable from the past involving similar experiences influence the choices we are considering. These emotions create preferences which lead to our decision.
