Discuss self-consciousness and self- focusing in adolescence, why do you think it is so prominent at this age. Discuss your own experience.

Answer: Self - consciousness and self focusing is at peak in adolescence. Person becomes more alert and conscious about his emotional and psychological needs. At the adolescence , person starts to feel, think more about the achievements, failure etc. At this stage, the brain starts to become more active towards the behavioral actions.

Same as everyone, I also had started to feel more, self focusing, on good looks etc. At this stage, one can easily feels embarrassing, happy, or can have mixed kind of feelings.
