what do you think it means to “develop your brand”? Why is this so important for your internship experience, but also possible future jobs? Provide an example where someone needed to develop their brand more than he/she already had. What were the repercussions for an underdeveloped brand?

The term "developing your brand " means to position yourself in the mind of people and your clients. It means how people talk about you when discussions arise, or when the decisions are to be made

As in the words of jeff bezos who clearly explained it perfectly by saying that "your brand" is what the people think and believe about you and say about you when you are not present there.

The personal brand builds the scope of getting opportunities for occupying prestigious positions , job status and builds trust of people that the person can handle anything.

as in case of products , the customers today do not only buy a product but a brand , Similarly today organizations do not hire a person but a personal brand , which enables them to build reputation and goodwill.

The more build the personal brand of a person , the more will be his or her demand in the reputed organisation thus obviously it is a corner stone in starting a promising career.

It increases the options for an individual as the person will be wanted more by many organizations than before , there will more wanting to work with the individual , the more the rapport of person the more will be the demand for the individual, they are liked more as compared to the others and also known by more people thus they build social relations which helps them to get a better position or job

Personal Branding is important for the individual in an internship experience because personal brand tends to shape the opinion and the views that people will hold about you may that be your colleagues, future employers , peers , friends, professors etc.

Personal brand development involves your impression, outfits, attitude, behavior, confidence , interactions , and social media presence.

Putting a positive personality and humble behavior with strict adherence to schedules , punctuality and diligence in performing tasks helps people to build trust and refer the individual for superior job placements

Personal branding builds an effective image, and increases the chances of not missing out on any opportunity.

Branding reflects the abilities, skills and qualities a person has and how can they be best consumed. Therefore a good brand is always preferred while

The CEO of company Mc Donald , "Steve Easterbrook" is considered to be underdeveloped with respect to his personal branding. He joined Mc Donalds in almost 2015 and was responsible for all the decision he took for the company that makes McDonald's the far more better and success today. Because if his underdeveloped brand he was not able to get such a position in earlier period because his skills, knowledge , abilities and competence were undermined and thus he was underlooked by most of prestigious businesses and ate even underlooked today . He is not very known and He has not been so successful to build as recognized image of him as Larry page or sundar pichai

Thus he needs to develop his personal brand more so that world cones to know who is behind the global presence of increased revenue of McDonalds

The repercussions of an underdeveloped brand is that it puts a major impact on the personal reputation of an individual. Underdeveloped brand precludes the resurgence of an individual as he or she might not be preferred or counted while an opportunity passes through. It means that the person is not recognized enough for considering him or her for a particular position or it means that the person has not occupied a competent position in the minds of clients or concerned people due to which no opportunity is declared to fit him.

An underdeveloped brand makes a person look fragile, incompetent, unimportant, thus not considered for the job or a position.

Underdeveloped brand does not enable a person to reflect his or her talent, confidence, hardwork or achievements.

Thus often Underlooked by people for a position or status.

Thus an underdeveloped brand hinders the development of a person , and acts as a bottleneck in her or his success.
