(a)Do you feel that it is accurate to characterize television as lacking in real content? (b)If so, what do you think is to blame for the quality of television programming?

Television plays an important role in one individual life, the United States being a developed country and holds the Majority of television rights all the world is often criticized for its lack of content on important issues. In the United States, on average a kid spends around 15 hours a week and these numbers increases from time to time and age is also a key factor here.

(a)  in recent studies, it has been proved that people are been influenced in violence and other act of crime and the major source (like TV, radio, video, social media), genuine brutality builds the danger of them acting fiercely. most people spend their lifetime watching Television. As time passed technology keeps on upgrading from time to time overtaking previous technology. these technologies are so addictive that some people cannot imagine their life without it. in Television, there is both positive and negative content to look for and one should be knowing what he is looking for and what he really wants. time pass is the agenda of mass media in the current scenario, watching funny videos (prank show, etc) has a great scope now. once Television was known for knowledge but now television is known for keeping knowledge aside. after the rise of social media, it became very easy for the common men to access the technology and everything is at their fingertips.

(b) Blaming for our quality of television program is totally subjective in nature, problems are always from two sides. peoples are investing time in watching some useless content which has no information on knowledge or close to it but television mostly depends in TRP (Television Rating Point) if they get hit on this then obviously provider will upgrade their content which is more useful than timepass.
