Privacy refers to an individual to keep things personal or private to themselves.They do not want others to intervene or protect their own private things

Confidentiality is usually exists between an individual to an organization or between two sets of group under law.According to law the things said or disclosed by one to another is kept as confidential and not disclosed to others without proper or legal consultation.Doing so is breach of confidentiality and the one who breached it is subjected to jury.

Disclosure in simple refers to an act of revealing the information to other which is kept as confidential or private.

Some of the obligations when undertaking client assessment are

• To maintain privacy of the patient during assessment (ensuring during physical assessment, during exposure of body parts ,etc., the other person should not be in that place)
• The information shared by the client which are very sensitive should be kept as confidential matters
• Ensure a privacy impact assessment is done to abodcany legal consequences in the future.
