Yes, some policies can reduce discrimination in the labor market

Increasing the minimum wage rate - By increasing the minimum wage rate, the gender wage gap can be reduced because this is the only way where further inequality can be reduced,because it will not be specific for one gender, it will be for both genders, so that there will be no impediment in its implementation and the gender wedge gap will also be reduced.

Payment transparency-  The government should implement some policies that have transparency in the payment and the employees should be paid according to their work and not according to the gender, and if the companies do not follow it, then they should be given appropriate monetary penalty.

Hence there are some policies may reduce the gender wage gap.
