Practicum Goals

When you entered the program as medical assistant, you were asked to write a paper on what your expectations were for the medical assisting program. Now that you are at the end of the program, please give three goals you have for your practicum and explain how you plan on completing them. Requirements are 150 words.

Medical assistant is the professional who qualifies and achieves training in medical assistance and aide facilities. After completion of this program I have considered some major goals for my practice and internship that would be followed as per the action planned-

1. To be able to manage my time adequately and enhance my time management skills

Action plan- to achieve this goal i will start my skill enhancement for time management from now on-wards where i will start keeping a journal to schedule my routine and also practice proper sleep and diet for better focus.

2. To be able to enhance my work discipline

Action plan- It is essential that the individual working in medical sector practices work discipline and develops the professionalism on basis of it, these are essential for better practice and experiencing different job opportunities will help me formulate this.

3. To have a unbiased and neutral mind set and practice trans-cultural services

Action plan- to learn different languages, and develop understanding of cultures that would help in enhancing my mind set and values for each culture keeping aside personal values.
