Answer #1

5. 1.2 mg Lanoxin has been prescribed to the patient.

Available scored tablets are 0.6 mg/tablet.

0.6*2 = 1.2

2 scored tablets should be administered to the patient.

6. available an ampule of Nitrostat labeled 500 mg in 1 cc.

ordered dose 0.8 g (800mg) of Nitrostat has been prescribed by the physician IV.

Nitrostat 500mg in 1ml so, 50mg in 0.1ml.

We have to give (800mg) 800/50 *0.1 = 1.6ml

You have to prepare 1.6 ml

7. The physician has prescribed 0.3 g of Clinoril.

Clinoril is available in scored tablets labeled 600 mg.

0.3 mg means 300mg.

So, You should give 1/2 tablet.
