Zoledronic acid

Pharmacological action A class of medications called bisphosphonates. It works by slowing bone breakdown, increasing bone density (thickness), and decreasing the amount of calcium released from the bones into the blood.
Complications rashes,itching,numbness,swellimg,muscle spasm
Contraindications CKD, heart failure, pregnency
Therapeutic use osteoporosis,paget's disease of bone, multimal myeloma,hypercalcemia
Mediaction administration solution (liquid) to inject into a vein over at least 15 minutes.
