Ans) Single-step- Gathering primary data from individuals or groups within a single contact, i.e.- written questionnaires & interviews, Multi-step survey- collect the data requires more than 1 contact.

Single step (cross- Sectional):

- written questionnaires
-face to face interviews
-telephone interviews- RDD
-electronic interviews
-group interviews

Multistep survey:

- A multi-step form is a long form that is broken into multiple pieces. They're used to make long forms, such as shipping or registration forms, less intimidating and daunting.
