Answer #1

DRI means dietary reference intake as per recommendatio from Institute of Medicine of the national academics at united states. It includes 2 sets of values that serves as goals for nutrition intake. They are RDA (Recommended daily allowance)and AI (adequate Intake).

As per the question , the 1 year toddler ,weighing 18lbs under  the DRI guidelines is adviced to take about 25 grams of sugar ( fewer than 6 teaspoons of added sugar), that is about 100 calorie.

So, 59 gram of sugar is a high intake and it is adviceable to reduce the sugar intake to about 25 grams per day for Sue Zhu.
