The WHO is often the first on the scene for health issues in developing countries, especially in Africa. Yet, it needs to conduct surveillance on a much larger scale than the CDC in the United States or other national health safety organizations in more developed countries. Because the scope of the WHO's surveillance is so large, poorer countries are often more vulnerable to infectious diseases than those with national health safety organizations. Since these diseases can spread, the health problems in poorer countries are global problems. Should wealthier nations contribute to the surveillance of poorer nations and send resources and medical professionals to help when an outbreak occurs? Why or why not? Wealthier nation must contribute in the surveillance of poorer nation and should send their medical supplies and health care paersonnal in poorer country because poorer country can not surveillance on their own. They doesn't have that much infrastructure, financials, that much of health facility in their country.

As WHO's scope of so large that cover all over the world. So only WHO can't do everything for helping the poorer nation.

As spread of infectious disease is more vulnerable in poor country because of bad health facility and poor sanitization facility. If infectious disease spread in poor country it may spread in developing and developed country also. For example in case of Ebola virus it originated in Africa and spread in the world.

So if developed country wanted to protect themselves from infectious disease they must help in surveillance and providing medical facility to poor countries.

Poor country have many problem like hunger, homelessness, and many other problem so they can't expenses all their money on health care. So they required the help of developed country.

I am agree with my classmates as they also believe that wealthier nation must help poor country in surveillance and providing medical facility.

1. I am agree because of all poor country doesn't have kind of health care facility to surveillance in health problem. They have many problem also from they are fighting like to provide food to their poor people, provide water, provide electricity, and proper cleaniness.

They have not much of qualified personnal to provide health care to their people so they need other countries to help them.
