Teach DM about the risk assosiated with taking alcohol and ibuprufen together.

One of the major side effect of pain killer (ibuprofen) is it will affect the lining of the stomach and leads to gastric irritations like stomach ulcer,bleeding. Like ibuprofen alcohol also affect the lining of the stomach. While taking ibuprofen along with alcohol it will increase the risk of stomach ulcer and bleeding.

Advice DM not to take double doses. Take drugs according to the prescription. As per the prescription dose should be 400 mg every 6 hr. If pain is not relieved by this dose,consult the doctor for changing the dose or drug.
