A section of the hospital has 15 patients. Each patient has a 750 ml IV that is set 14 gtt per minute.

The number of liters of IV solution is needed each week = 750 ml x 15

= 11250 ml (As 1000ml make one liter)

11250/1000

= 11.25 liters per week
