You are at the family picnic several teenagers are playing frisbee in the field. Suddenly one of teens approaches you and complains that he is having trouble breathing and his skin is itchy. You notice that his eyes are watery, his skin is raised and red, and his face and tongue appear swollen.What do you believe is his diagnosis? Step by step discusses and record your actions.

- The patient had an anaphylactic reaction.
- The patient having anaphylactic symptoms due to some allergies.
-patient playing in the field so there may be stings from bees, yellow jackets, fire ants, wasps.
-patient having symptoms of anaphylactic reaction like itching, pale skin, flushed, breathing difficulty, swelling of face and tongue.
Immediate action:
- make the patient lie down comfortably and loosen the tight clothes
- Check patient vital signs immediately
- Administer epinephrine immediately
- Avoid inject in the hands and feet, it can cause tissue damage
-Inject medicine in the outer area of the thigh
-The patient is having trouble breathing due to the alalergic reaction.If there is no breathing we can start CPR with uninterrupted chest presses for 100 every minute.
-Now CPR not required
-Watch for patient medication reaction
- If there is no improvement inject again after 5 to 15 minutes and take the patient to nearby hospital or clinic or call the helpline number
