Answer #1

10) Strength will be 1/4 when you add 1 can of isocal to 3 cans of water.

11) 0.9% means 0.9gms of NaCl in 100 mL. So, 1 litre of 0.9% has 9gms of NaCl. To convert it into milligrams, multiply it with 1000. So, 9000 mg of NaCl is the answer.

12) 40 ounces

13) 0.5% means 0.5 grams in 100 mL.

For 4 grams, we need 8 times the volume. So, 800 ml is required.

14) 4% means 4 grams in 100 mL.

So, 2L of solution has 80 grams of NaCl.
