Describe the developmental markers a nurse should assess for a 9-month-old female infant. Discuss the recommendations you would give the mother. Explain why these recommendations are based on evidence-based practice.

As the any is 9 month old and weights of 6.75 kg which is of 14 pounds and 14 ounces and has a head circumference of 43 cm which is 16.9 inches and lenght is of 68.5 can she is shallow end for her weight according to WHO.According to the baby weight and lenght she is below the marker of WHO and she is shorter than normal average child and is not developing in regular progression.

Development markers.

The infant should be emotional with people they know and may be clingy and maybe afraid of strangers and be able to communicate with no,yes and mama and Baba and able to point things they want and make gestured they see from others and cognitive such as able to see the things which a are falling can be able to hold things.And can crawl able to sit and stand by holding somethings etc.

Recommendations include.

According to WHO infant of 9 month should get complementary foods 3 to 4 times a day along with breastmilk or formula.They should be provided with nutrition so that they can develop as health normal babies.
