Civic engagement scholars program:

It is a program that educates, trains , and encourages students to become agents of change in their communities and in the society. It is a two to three year course depending on how the student organizes their schedule . Students will be provided with the knowledge and skill needed to get engaged and to become an active citizen all through their life.

Expanding on scholastic examination, service learning, network based research, and critical analysis of social issues, the students connect information and social activity to address neglected human needs in a joint effort with the local community.

The students will be prepared to take part in course work, administration learning, different seminars, service trips and workshops that will influence them to comprehend the requirements and issues of the local community and how to react to these necessities.

Towards the end of thee program, scholars will serve in, study and create authentic associations with local network agencies through the span of their time in the program. The program will culminate in the understudies investigating multiple pathways like administration, community based research, policies , services public awareness /community education instruction and advancement/social entrepreneurship, through which they can make their own commitment to the local community network in response to the needs identified.

Because of all these advantages and exposures , I really would like to be a part of this program to continue my professional growth by fostering my knowledge and skill.
