Nurses have to come across many challenges in their day to day work. Before entering the profession, nurses need to know the role of decision making in their professional life. The Code of ethics helps nurses to take a decision during ethical dilemmas. Ethical decision making and ethical obligations are consistent in the nursing profession. Some of the ethical issues that are common in the nursing profession are a nurse-patient relationship, disclosing the patient's personal information, misuse of Clinical power, practical challenges, etc. These struggles can be overcome by following ethical principles, non-violating of ethical rules, maintaining professionalism, fulfilling responsibilities, following therapeutic relationship, etc. Approaching ethical committee will do beneficial for the staff during issues.
