Answer #1

1.VO2 max is the number that ecpress just how much oxygen you consume when exercising your hardest.

The formula used to calculate VO2 max is

VO2 max= 15×(MHR/RHR)

MHR( Maximum Heart Rate) =220- his age, ie 220-36=184

RHR(Resting Heart Rate) = 60

Then VO2 max = 15×184÷60 = 46.001mL/Kg/Min

MET are used to estimate the energy expenditure for many common physical activities. One MET is an individual resting metabolic rate (RMR) and is approximately 3.5 Milliliters of oxygen consumed per kilogram body weight per minute.

MET = VO2 max/VO2 at rest

We already found VO2 max is 46.001 and VO2 at rest is set by convention at 3.5 ml of oxygen per kilograms per minute.

MET=46.001/3.5= 13.14

VO2 max is 46.001 and is in the category " Good "for age group 36-45.

2.During each stage of exercise, HR is keep on increasing. It is considered normal and may extend upto 175 bpm.

Irrespective of apparent normal BP at resting phase, some individual may elevate to excess level during exercise. ie systolic BP upto 220 mm Hg and diastolic BP upto 110 mm Hg in men.
