Is this a case control study or a cohort study?

Over the course of a week, several people called the local health department and reported that they had become ill 3 to 4 days after eating at a sushi restaurant. The health department was able to use reservation lists to contact people who had eaten at the restaurant during that week. Most people did not make reservations so there was no way to contact everyone who had eaten at the restaurant. From surveys, 78 ill and 255 well individuals were identified and interviewed.
