The doctrine of incarnation is the announcement of a divine gift rather than logical proofs and developments as the slow , spontaneous, and ethical growth or a derivation . Newman was particularly suspicious of a view of justification that stressed imputed righteousness rather than the imparted work of sanctification and grace . Consistency over time gives the heart a measure of assured faith and works as a buttress against doubt.
In Newman's view , faith and reason are not airtight categories of knowing separate from one another but two interdependent modes of understanding . In this sense , Newman held a version of the nature and grace hierarchy much catholic culture . Nature achieves certain things , but must have grace to go any further any ideabofithe humanist scholar whose faith informed and corrects learning.
According to the catechism of the catholic church , the sacraments are efficacious signs of grace , instituted by christ and entrusted to the church , by which divine life is dispensed to us. Newman's doctrine of incarnation is the announcement of a divine gift conveyed in a material and visible medium , it being thus that heaven and earth are in the incarnation initedu. That is , it establishes in the very idea of Christianity the sacramental principle as it's characteristics.
Another principle involved in the doctrine of the incarnation , viewed as taught or as dogmatic, is the necessary use of language , e.g, of the text of scripture , in a second or mystical sense.
Newman Apologetic Resource is that He took on flesh in the incarnation and he resurrected that flesh as well and so the sacraments in sum , contitute the very heart of the catholic faith.
So , sacrament is the term in antiquity designating oath . Now at first glance we might be tempted to say , to understand a sacrament or why the church was led by the spirit to accept the term sacrament to explain these divine mysteries.
THEOLOGY: Explain how Newman saw the sacramental system as a logical development of the Incarnation.
Explain how Rowlandson’s Captivity Narrative demonstrate three (3) of the central concerns of Puritan theology and thinking.
Please explain how to draw the newman projection as well. 2. Explain why the following compound reacts to give a mixture of alkene stereoisomers in which only the cis-dimethyl isomer contains deuterium. Hint: draw the alkyl halide in a Newman projection. You will be asked to do this on midterm 1. Br CH,CH,OH Das * Change CACHON le CH3 C'H + CH3CH,0. H;c Stvong base
Critically analyse the system development in the context of its surrounding factors, explain what is successful and a failed system and how to model a system for success. (1000 words)
(a) Draw the saw-horse (or wedge-dash) projection of (2S,3R)-3-methylpentan-2-ol. [Marks: 1] (b) Draw the Newman projections of the 2-3 bond in (2S,3R)-3-methylpentan-2-ol. [Marks: 2] (c) Based on the Newman projections from part b. - draw a rotation vs. energy diagram (you do NOT need to give specific energy values in this diagram) that will allow you to identify the most stable confirmation around the 2-3 bond. Assume the greatest steric and torsional strain occurs when the hydroxyl and ethyl groups...
23) A Logical model used to gather information about an existing system A) comes only after a physical model of the existing system is created. B) describes how a system actually works, rather than how it should work. C) illustrates how a system functions by describing the flow of documents and computer processes D) illustrates what is being done, regardless of how that flow is actually accomplished. 24) A prototype A) is expensive to create and is therefore only created...
What are logical functions in Excel? Can you give an example and explain how it works?
1. What are differences between an arithmetic shift right (ASR) and Logical shift right (LSR). Explain using examples. 2. Explain how ARM system implement 64 bit addition using examples.
PLEASE EXPLAIN THE NEWMAN PROJECTION !!! HOW Compounds 1 and 2 exhibit an oxetane ring (a four-membered ring containing an oxygen atom), which is a very important structural feature in a number of natural products. For example, an oxetane ring is present in the structure of taxol, used in the treatment of breast cancer. When either 1 or 2 is treated with TsCI and pyridine, followed by t-BuOK, the Zaitsev elimination product dominates, despite the use of a satirically hindered...
Explain how the development of the Eurodollar, or US dollars created outside of the US banking system, both contributed to the bubble in the US stock and housing markets that led to the 2008 financial crisis, and also made the subsequent crash worse.
1 Mark Question Two Consider a file system on a disk that has both logical and physical block sizes of 512 tebytes. Assume that the information about each file is already in memory. For each of the three allocation strategies (contiguous, linked, and indexed), answer these at questions: a. How is the logical-to-physical address mapping accomplished in this system? (For the indexed allocation, assume that a file is always less than 512 blocks long.) b. If we are currently at...
