Answer: Nursing Assistant plays one of the major roles in the life of the patient suffering from Parkinson's disease. The Parkinson's disease is a disorder of nervous system which is a degenerative disorder. The nursing assistant can guide the patient as:

• Communication: Nursing assistant should not emphasize patient to talk frequently or in hurry because this will lead to difficulty in talking. Hence the nursing assistant guide the patient to talk in a slow motion.
• Emotional stress: Nursing assistant provides emotional support to the patient as they are depressed due to their diseased condition. The emotional support will abolish the anxiety from the patients.
• Nutrition: As the disease progression occurs, the difficulty of chewing and eating in the patient also increases. The nursing assistant provides the break meal such as small meals in a six times a day.

The interprofessional collaboration means the healthcare professionals works together to achieve the same target. The nursing assistant can collaborate with the other discipline such as nutritionist and physiotherapist so as to provide better knowledge and care to the patient.
