1.INTRODUCTION

Dental anxiety is define as state of unpleasant feeling combined with an associated feelings of impending doom or danger from within than from with out. anxious patients are difficult to manage and tend to avoid treatment.

AIM: The aim of the study is to evaluate the level of dental anxiety among patient undergoing dental procedures

MATERIALS AND METHODS:

  • Consent form
  • pro forma of questionnaire (MDAS)
  • Explain about survey to the patient
  • make score to evaluation
  • statistical analysis

results:

there is a difference between male and female patients while during dental procedures

CONCLUSION

patient below 25 years age is more anxious than other age group

females are more anxious than men.

VALIDITY

Validity expresses the degree to which a measurement measures what it purports to measure.

several varieties have been described including face validity, construct validity, content validity, criterion validity.

RELIABILITY

it refers to the degree to which the results obtained by measurement and procedure can be replicated.

it is assessed favorably and present time administration is found to improve ISAR accuracy over its retrospective use.

CEILING EFFECT

The optimal potential effect of a medication. once a therapeutic limit is reached ,increases in dose may produce side effects but no further beneficial effects.
