I chose Quantitative balance and gait measurement in patients with front temporal dementia and Alzheimer diseases. The findings of this article were that balance and gait problems are more significant in the patient with FTD and AD in comparison with the normal aging subjects. They also concluded that gait abnormalities are more significant in patients with FTD than patients with the AD. In opposition, postural stability abnormalities are more significant in patients with the AD than FTD patients. I won’t apply the evidence found in my practice because the results of this pilot study were based in a small sample, the findings of this study are not a guarantee to establish a statistical foundation, in addition, pilot studies assess the feasibility of a study.
Parental noncompliance with immunizations is a public health concern that has increased during the past years. With the resurgence of disease like measles-mumps-rubella (MMR) that were almost eradicated with the mandated childhood immunization schedule, there is a need to address the parent’s concerns in order to reduce the number of unimmunized patients. Concerns regarding the relation between MMR and the risk for ASD have been identified as one of the major reasons for vaccine rejection. A good design patient education focuses on those concerns will reduce vaccine misperceptions and increase vaccination rates for MMR. To translate my research into practice the first step is to identify an effective message in vaccination promotion that I can test on the pediatric clinic. According to Brendan et al. (2014) “None of the pro-vaccine messages created by public health authorities increased intent to vaccinate with MMR”. With this in mind, the presentation to my peers will be a focus on what has been effective on pro-vaccine messages, furthermore, I will present how the education intervention can be implemented in the practice to accomplish the objective. At the beginning of my research I thought that my focus should be the implementation of education to increase the immunization rate, however, according to the evidence-based practice this implementation has already been tested with not much success. At this point I understood that my research should be focusing primary on the effectiveness of the message to increase the immunization rate.

The Assignment Application and implications for practice come from the interpretation of meaning from research findings. Communicating and using research evidence is an expectation of a BSN graduate. Select and describe one of the conclusions from the required article from the Week 6 assignment that you found interesting and applicable to practice. Describe how you would apply the evidence to improve nursing practice. Explain your answer. Discuss ways you would disseminate research-based evidence; how would you share with your peers?...
Choose one of the articles from the assignment, and discuss the findings. Would you apply the evidence found to your practice? Explain your answer. Translating research into practice is the final and most important step in the research process. Review information you found your nursing clinical issue and explain ways in which you would share the research-based evidence with your peers.
why is it important to disseminate not only research finding, but also evidence based practice project finding
Reflect on your learning about Quantitative and Qualitative research; share two ways that helped you understand how they are different. Choose one category of study design that you found interesting and describe; include what you learned about the design and how you believe it can help study nursing problems. Refer back to your clinical nursing priority problem and evidence you located for your week 3 assignment: • The nursing-evidenced practice (NEBP) committee has requested for you to make a recommendation...

In what ways are you and your peers using these standards in your areas of nursing practice? Discuss one nursing action you might incorporate to improve cultural competence in your organization.
Including evidence based research for your capstone paper is important. Why do you need good evidence in your paper? How will you know the quality of the evidence you are using?
Discuss the differences between research, research utilization, and evidence-based practice. You may want to link this to the historical evolution of research in nursing.
