Research is a systematic process of diligent inquiry or examination to seek or reverse facts, principles , theories and applications. Dissemination of research findings or evidence is a major step in research process. Dissemination means activities designed to transfer the knowledge and findings to the target audience . The ways to disseminate the resarch based evidences are:

Presentation of research- based evidences in conferences( poster presentation or oral presentation)
Publishing in a Journal
Nursing organizations/ agencies
Newsletters
T.V, Radio, popular magazines.
Sharing with peers : social media, conferences and open journals, presenting to stakeholders and through workshop presentations a person can communicate his research- based evidence to his peers.
Why Dissemination of research - based evidence is important?
No research project is complete until the final report has been communicated through any means to peers and to general public. The reason of huge gap between the theory and practice often due to the lack of communication and application of research evidence and findings in the professional practice area. It is important to communicate and to utilize the research findings for the advancement of the nursing profession. The development of the body of knowledge of a profession happens through the proper communication of research findings. It influences the traditional practices in the profession for beneficial change and also public.
